I Got An Email Update From Ford!

...and it is just a general marketing/info update, not an order status update. My heart skipped a beat for a moment as I only ordered a bit over a month ago!

The email is titled "More Mustang Mach E Excitement" with a subtitle of It's All Adrenaline From Here. That definitely got me excited. You can imagine my disappointment to find that the email only contained some general info on charging options; helpful, sure, but not a production date!

Has anyone else experienced this? How often do you get non-event emails from Ford during your wait?

I ordered mine in November. I also got super excited when I got a similar email a while ago. Still no build date on mine

Alas! I feel your pain. I hope you get a date soon.

I figure I'll not get a build date until March at the earliest, but my obsession defies all logic and I'll keep checking a few times a day anyway.

received a month after submitting my order. STAY EXHILERATED. STAY INFORMED.

6 weeks into this EXHILERATION.
"My dealer" is so unresponsive that I looked again at another dealer's purported inventory. Again, I found 2022 MME listed and judging by the VIN, the car is still being built in Mexico, delivery date unknown. They don't say that the car is not on the lot and won't be for weeks. Chat bot was willing to schedule a visit to "inspect" the car. hahahaha The joke's on me. Long live the grumpy. ?

I got the same email exactly one month after I placed my order. Got my hopes up too. I ordered at the end of December and will be happy if I get it by September honestly.

Ha, get used to it . . . I also have a Bronco on order, and have since July 2020. The first 20 times I received a general Ford auto-e-mail my heart skipped a beat for a few, fleeting seconds as I thought the golden ticket landed in my mail box . . . only to be disappointed when realizing it was just another marketing e-mail. Now I am jaded and unfazed by any Ford e-mail. Imagine my shock when I finally receive the coveted message . . . but who knows when it will be at this point . . . ?

Mine was in regards to different charging options. At least it was informative as this is my first EV and I still don't fully understand the whole levels 1-3 of chargers.

You are very lucky that you have seen this letter! I can't even imagine how terrible it would be if you just missed it because of the huge flow of emails every day. From my personal experience, I know what it is not to see an important letter; this has created many problems for me. A couple of months ago, I didn't notice a letter in the mail saying that within 5 days, I had to pay the tax on the car, otherwise I would lose the entire cost of the rhinestones. I did not see this letter, and my insurance just burned out, which caused terrible damage to my wallet. Because of this case, I will now always use a lead scraper to sort all my emails. Please don't repeat my mistakes friends
