There’s a bulletin for this issue, you need to update your door modules. The current software can randomly cause the alarm to activate. I’ve had the same happen to me.

mu car os going in Monday for its annual inspection. Do you know if this something the dealer does automatically or am I going to have to make a request to get it done?

You’ll likely have to state you’re having issues and that there’s an active bulletin out for it in order for them to update the software. Some dealerships don’t hassle when it comes to doing software updates but I know some do.

While you’re there and they’re updating it, might as well ask them to apply all the pending updates in FDRS. They’re not obliged to, but if you’re lucky they’ll do it.

I wouldn't worry in my message centre on my app, every time any door or boot is opened it comes up as a Securialert for every event, at present I have 291 messages, no faith in system whatsoever, together with several other issues and plenty of bookings to the Main dealer,not resolved.

I have had well over 200 Securialerts pop up in the message centre of my APP even after several up dates.
