I hate Gloss Black

Has anyone successfully deleted all the gloss black on the exterior of their Mach E? I am planning to cover it all with Matte Black 3M, but I'm interested to see what others have done.

I plan to wrap the front end and every spec of gloss black with PPF. Eventually, I want to have my wheel arches painted to match the car.

Instead of using a black vinyl, you may want to look into having your black bits covered in a matte PPF. Should give you the look you going for. While also protecting the finish.

I PPF-ed all black trim before I ever washed the vehicle. It looks great after 21 months of use.

I have matte black between my tail lights. It collects dust really well back there.

I'm with you, I'm going to look into this as well, i have clear PPF on the front but I really think Matte PPF would be the way to go for front, top, side skirts and rear

Funny, I have a '23 Premium, red w/the gloss black trim......I am not a gloss guy, wife and I sold at better art/craft shows for 30+ years, woodwork, and never used a gloss finish, always satin.....HOWEVER, I get many, many positive comments on the gloss black trim w/the red paint.....when I had my '21 Select, got comments of course, but not as many as the red w/the gloss black trim....the car came w/the gloss trim, I didn't order it as such......didn't care either way , but based on the response from the public, they like it......again, to each his/her own.......

yep I went from a premium to a GT and the body painted wheel arches are absolutely gorgeous, it leaves just enough gloss black to add some variety, ie the rocker panes and the front and rear air dams.
