My car has arrived after waiting since last November! I am picking it up Tuesday morning since he said he needed Monday to get it ready. I have printed off my order sheet and am ready to go in and start the battle. I am hoping they don't play too many games but if they will honor the order date price instead of the new sticker price it will save me 2000 dollars.

Is it possible to contact Ford while I am sitting there if they give me hard time? I have heard that I can call and "open a ticket" with marketing? Is that really a thing?

No, you’re at the mercy of the dealer, which is why so many recommend going in before your car arrives to get the price ironed out.
This. Even your order page says that the price reflected is MSRP, actual dealer price may be different. Best to bring anything you have regarding price from the dealer at time of order.

Because of the timing of your order, you should be price protected but I've seen numerous posts about dealer not aware of or trying not to honor this.

Thanks, I have hinted numerous times over the last 4 months that I was expecting the old price. I sent him an email last month with a link to the YouTube video showing the price protection and smart vincent email. Each time he just ignored that part of the emails. Fingers crossed!

i just asked the dealer to email me the deal sheet. they can do it now since the car is there to avoid any surprises when you arrive.

i was pleasantly surprised with the experience frankly, i expected shenanigans and there weren't any. i hope for the same for you.

From the way you are describing the interactions I’m thinking you were never sent any paperwork back in November showing prices. If that’s the case and if they don’t want to honor price protection, you may have an uphill battle. Good luck and hang in there.
