I have a friend that participates in organized Ice Races up in Minnesota. He competes in a Miata, but said there's plenty of high-dollar vehicles that go and race like Porsche 911's and others so the risk of damage is pretty low. I have a '23 GT on Rally Springs, so I'm having impure thoughts about getting a set of studded tires and giving it a go. Anyone else ever done ice racing?

Didn’t even know it existed, but that sounds awesome.

I did a little ice racing around some empty mall in CO in my ISF and a friend in his c4s. Needless to say he 'won' as neither of us were studded and it ended up being a doughnut fest after a lap. My MME would fair well I assume.
It's usually just a snowbank you'd hit so it's a blast, as long as the banks arn't taller than your line of sight.
