Had a '21 Mach E Premium ER when they first came out. A year and a half later, I was able to get an early Lightning and saw no need for two cars. Carvana gave me what I paid for it

Was browsing and saw a '23 GT Performance with 7,500 miles for sale a couple hours away. Got them to 37K and snatched it up. I'm pretty sure I shit my pants on that first 0-60.

Just need some ceramic tint and we good.

The depreciation on EVs is absolutely nuts and indicative of how wary most people are. Whoever had this took a bath.

Yah, boyeee! Sweet deal. The depreciation on these cars has nothing to do with the reality (imo).

I've no intention of getting rid of my MME any time soon and it has been a terrific, easy to own tool.

From the buying side: glad folks on a tighter budget have options like yours. I think BEVs are great and can provide an amazing ownership experience. Even more so if you don't have to mortgage the house to get into one.

Welcome back!

Depreciation for me only has meaning at the time of sale/trade, which I plan for a handful of years or more in the future. My previous vehicle, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata was only market-worth of a couple thousand going into the MME. So, yeah, they wind down in value eventually. ($25k --> $1,600 over 10 years)

On the other hand, I saw a 1962 Ford Falcon for sale in a local neighborhood driveway looking in average condition. That reminded me of the one I had in 1969 that was acquired for $100 back then. I was tempted to inquire about the recent one, but couldn't imagine what they asking for it. ?‍♂

I suspect sooner or later, people will finally realize that BEVs last as long or longer than an ICE car and the resell value will go up, but right now it is real boon for the people that know and can pick up a really good deal.

Looks like really nice car. Congratulations.
