I just got my 2024 Mustang Mach e GT on Saturday. Our garage stays at about 45°. The car is connected to a 240 outlet overnight. Noticed that the available drive range at 100% was around 220 miles this morning. I used the FordPass app to warm up the cabin and I thought maybe the battery as well but I only noticed a couple miles increase In the available range. Is there anything I should be doing to improve the number of miles I can drive on a charge in the winter when storing in a heated garage? Thanks!

Congratulations on the purchase.

1. Read your owners manual
2. You have an extended range battery so don’t charge to 100 unless you need it (see #1)
3. Use a Departure Time while plugged in to warm the battery (see #1)
4. Climate on from FordPass only heats the cabin (see #1)
5. Ignore fluctuations in the GOM (see #6)
6. Read this. https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...lanation-how-to-calculate-actual-range.13749/
7. See #1.

You may not get much additional range preconditioning your battery as you have a heated garage but at 45 degrees I believe you may get a slight improvement based on what I have read. To increase winter range keep heat level as low as comfortable and use seat heat when driving.
