Initial Range

I test drove a Premium with AWD and extended battery. When I got in the car it was at 100% charge with a range of 241 miles. It was about 40 degrees outside. Is this typical initially and the predicted range will improve over time?

Yes, range depends on outdoor temp. Goes down when cold, increases when warm.

It’s also predictive and if the people before you drive fast, it will proactively predict less range. Max range prediction comes with warm temps and slow speeds. My predicted range is currently about 190 miles on my GT. But like any crystal ball prediction, you can make it true or make some changes to your habits and alter the outcome.
