That is not the latest, have you had the customer satisfaction update done to your car to ensure you can get OTA updates properly? Your car's build date qualifies for it, the dealer should have done it while they had your car for the recall. In one of the OTA updates, they remove intelligent cruise control and add sign recognition to a separate spot, which is all that intelligent cruise control was (adaptive + sign recognition and adjustment of your speed based on it).
Thanks. I will check with them. I did have them install an update that needed to be done at the dealer but that was done before I took my Mach E in for the recalls. Unfortunately, the entire time they had my car for the recall it was at their body shop (separate building) where they did not have the equipment to do any software updates.
I will follow-up with them to get the current software updates, but I think there could still be a problem with my camera alignment resulting from the windshield recall.

It is probably all software related - they're supposed to hook it up and relcalibrate it. That's why it is smart for them to do the recall then take it to a service bay and do 21P22 along with the calibration stuff. Yeah, definitely make sure they do 21P22. I would just try and ask if they'll do all updates in FRDS and give you a print out since you're having to go back and they dropped the ball.

Got it. Thanks for the guidance.

It's been a minute but I have an update. My dealer identified my main display screen as being the source of several problems and ordered me a new main display screen. It took several months to come in (I could still drive the car) but eventually it did. As they replaced the screen and performed all the software updates, they determined that not all the identified problems were fixed and that I needed a new APIM (?) and my Mach E was no longer driveable. 3 1/2 weeks later, the APIM arrived, they installed it and all the previously identified problems appear to be fixed...YAY! While they had my car, they also installed the Battery Contractor software patch which I believe was a good thing. They did not tell me this, but I also figured out that I now have Blue Cruise capability. But the one thing that does not seem to be working properly is the Adaptive Intelligent Cruise Control (yes...I now have only 2 cruise control options). In the settings, I have Adaptive Cruise Control turned on along with Lane Centering with Hands Free and Speed Sign Recognition. I have set my speed Tolerance to 8 MPH over the posted speed limit. But when I activate the cruise control, it acts like the previous "Adaptive Cruise Control" not not the new "Adaptive (Intelligent) Cruise Control" (i.e., it gets set to the speed I was traveling when I set it and maintains the set distance from the vehicle in front of me, but does not set the speed to the posted speed limit plus the tolerance). Is there something else I need to do to set it properly and activate it or is this yet another problem?
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

The speed will not update until you pass a speed limit sign that is different than the last observed. E.x. if you engage at 29 MPH in a 25 MPH zone it will lock at 29 mph and continue until it sees a speed limit sign other than 25 mph. If you drive past a 35 mph sign then the target speed will update to 43 mph with your +8 setting.

You need to manually adjust with the +/- until you pass a sign with a different limit.

Thanks, that's kinda weird but I will test that out. One would think that, like the old "Intelligent Cruise Control", it would pick up the posted speed and make any tolerance adjustment from the time you activate the cruise control. Any idea if this is a flaw or a "design feature"?
