Interior detailing -- shinny black plastic

I was detailing my MME Premium 25 yesterday. What is the best way to clean the black shiny plastic without leaving streaks, etc. I was using a microfiber cloth but still getting streaks.

What is a great vacuum which will get down into the cracks around the seat?

How can i get the stuff near the cracks near the edges of the parking break, hazard light?

I use the narrow attachment on my regular vacuum (long and thin one). For the shiny stuff I use paper towel and Windex.

I use Griot's Interior Detailer and their edgeless microfiber towels. The interior detailer has UV protection, smells like Hawaiian punch, and works on all of the interior surfaces. The microfiber towels are very plush and decently absorbant. It's also nice that they come in a multi-pack.

I carry a makeup brush in all my cars for brushing dust out of vents, cracks, buttons, soft and fluffy and effective.

These are the tools and products I use to keep my interior clean:

1) A Ryobi 1-gallon vacuum. The flexible hose and the small nozzle allow you to vacuum the smallest areas.

2) An ultra soft detailing brush set, like this one on Amazon:

You can use the brushes to gently push dirt and dust out of hard to reach areas. If you use a cleaning solution, you can use a detailing brush to work the cleaner into a small area without scratching the surface.

3) Mckees 37 Fast Interior Detailer - My favorite interior cleaner. It cleans well, leaves behind some UV protection, and smells amazing.

Personally, I would not use paper towels on any shiny surface. Too much of a risk of inducing small scratches. I instead use clean, soft microfiber towels.

Agree 100%. Clean microfiber is the way. Paper towels do leave fine scratches.

I like it, but I’d avoid it as well for some very fine scratchy reasons.
