Interpreting my Window Sticker

So, if my sticker shows this info.,

that means it went to the plant on 1/20/21? The latest info. I got from my dealer contact says: SENT TO PLANT-IN PRODUCTION. Any idea how soon I'll see a date added here for a production date?

These are approximate based on what has been posted on the forum - About 15 to 25 days to complete production from the date it was sent to plant (and thats when production date is filled in); another 10 days from that completion date to being shipped and what ever time the shipping takes. Yours was sent to plant 7 days ago so may not be even started or in process of getting built. This tracker will update usually in a day or two after build is done and after shipment

What I noticed bottom of window sticker, if any update happen the date change.

Do you mean as the car moves through production the very bottom date changes when it moves to a new build station?

No, if there are any updates to the window stocker...not the car.

Initially my CA Rt1 had no EPA ratings so my window sticker had huge red "NOT FOR SALE" text all over it. After about a month of that they "reprinted" it with the newly released EPA data.

OK. My sticker was printed on 1-20-21 and the bottom date has changed 3 or for times over the last week.

Ignore that date. It doesn't mean anything of importance.

Just got my sticker today (but it could have popped up a few days ago). That shows the originally scheduled date I was given, which is interesting, because it was yesterday. So while, the car has been rescheduled (to 8/15) the system making the stickers clearly doesn’t ‘know’ that yet. The date at the bottom of mine is today’s date, which is probably just because I generated it today.

I wouldn’t trust the date on the stickers too early in the process.
