I wanted to hold out on introducing my Mach-E until I had something to show. So here is a short intro to my R2 Unit.
.
Since childhood I’ve made concerted efforts to treat the planet well. Though having a host of sports cars sometimes plays against that ideal. This Mach-E came into my sights once I found out my Bronco was probably going to be a 2022 model. I also needed it for development of our Signature Wheel fitments. Couple phone calls later and it was home.
.
1500 miles in and I’ve enjoyed it. I charge for free nearby my house. No more need to fire up my GT3 or GT500 for a quick jaunt to the store and running errands.
.
Phase 1 was to nail down some solid wheel fitments for our Signature Wheel builds. This 22x9.5 square Signature Wheel SV301S setup is superb. I strive to be a professional at what I do, so having this car to refine wheel fitments on makes life easier for all my clients. Finding the right tire to compliment the wheel setup is a whole different battle. These cars are special enough to deserve properly built wheels.
.
Phase 2 will be to lower the car. I am developing some custom lowering springs that I will share with you all soon. Couple different options will be available.
.
Phase 3 will be some exterior aesthetic modifications. Customized plates for us Star Wars nerds are on the way. Plus some other little tricks I have up my sleeve.
.
Snack on these and check out my Signature Wheel Mach-E Adventure thread for some more from this shoot. I have some track focused wheels in development that will get a set of Sport Cup 2 tires for Sonoma Raceway. Plus a 20” street setup. It’s going to be a fun year.
