I discovered something new today, I was using an app with my iPhone while connected with carplay in the car and when I did a screen capture of a recipe I was looking at, it not only captured what I was looking at on the Phone but also what was being displayed on the car screen via carplay. So my phone captured two images at the same time. I learn something new everyday with this car.

I'm on my 4th car with wireless Apple CarPlay, and they've all done this.

This is my first car with wireless Carplay so I'm still learning things It can do.

Yes, this is a CarPlay feature since technically iOS is displaying a 2nd screen and sharing it over wifi or USB connection. That's how CarPlay functions at a basic level. So When taking a screenshot, you take a screenshot of all screens. This also occurs if you screenshot while AirPlaying. (Unless it's DRM protected content.)

Just a side note, if you're on a Mac and take a screenshot, it will take one of all screens attached as well.

Windoze does this too. It’s actually annoying when you have 3 monitors ?

100% Agree there. My work station has 2 external monitors so it gets to be a lot of files on the desktop when I screenshot.
