Is FordPass VIN specific?

I have always assumed that FordPass is the same for all Mach-E owners but now I am not so sure. Sounds like some people have Securialert while others don't, some have front trunk button, some have the adaptive headlights control etc.

So, how does FordPass know which features to display and which to hide? VIN?

Yes. The Ford back end knows what features your car has and can show or hide features based on your car.

I've had a feature in early access that they turned on in the car and on the app with no update to either.

I guess that makes sense. I knew it was model specific but a bit surprised it is car by car specific.
