Is my MME rusting???

My beautiful 2021 MME is close to the 1000 built. I noticed a slight color difference on both sides of the circular indentation on the lower corners of the body (where the liftgate closes) within the first few weeks of having this vehicle but it is getting more yellow & running. It looks like rust is happening OMG
I'm wondering if anyone else has seen these "rust spots" on the liftgate? Pictures are left side & then right side. The left is definitely worse.
Is this a warranty issue?

That is the bumper cover, it's not rusting because it is plastic.. it might be rust, but from "rail dust" that got between your bumper cover and rubber bumper during shipping. Simply clean off bumper cover and rubber bumper on liftgate

That’s where the rubber stoppers sit. Have you tried cleaning it? Lol

It's a little brake dust. A little simple green on a tooth brush should do the trick. Rinse, gone!!

That first pic looked about the size of a bathroom sink. Have you tried cleaning that area?

OMG I'm a girl who likes sparkly things is my excuse lol
I had been trying to clean it off & it was getting worse so hence the question. I just used Mother's Scratch Repair & it's slightly less yellow but thank you for your suggestions & I'll work on it

be sure you're also cleaning the parts that fit in those spots.

Not sure if you wash your car yourself, but if you do, you'll notice that since that's outside the weather seal, water drains out along there, dirty water can collect there and then gets smushed down into it by the stoppers..

After I wash the car I always open the doors and the tail gate to wipe all surfaces with the microfiber.
