Is text a Ford expert still working?

After getting the various random alerts on my 2024, I wanted to check the 12V battery level in the only easy way I know how to -- text Ford. (Rather than the other approach of either disassembling the frunk or Forscan).

After I texted my question I got "We have received your message. Our virtual assistant is available to help. Start chatting here:" and a link to a very limited chatbot and no human reply this morning.

Is the service still available?

Perhaps @Ford Motor Company could comment if there’s been a change in the text an EV expert service.

Texting to check 12V battery status is mostly satisfying owner curiosity at this point, it’s not really useful info to solve problems since the 12V battery would have already recharged if it reached a critical threshold <50% (and the car isn’t dead). The reading is delayed, not live (it’s from the last time the car was on). It also won’t tell you about battery health, since the SoC could be at 80% while the battery is failing.

If you haven’t received a “Check 12V Battery” message in FordPass and the errors are totally gone the next time you drive the car, then it was just a random glitch which happens occasionally.
