Issue with receiving text?

Has anyone been having issues with the car reading date,time,sender, and recipient before actually reading the text aloud? I believe it started when they added the dual phone functionality but it only does it to my phone and not to the wife's. It's really only annoying having to listen to 30 seconds of dialogue before hearing the text.(Note it doesn't do this in my explorer when I get a message)

My car only does that when the text contains an image or link. Do all your texts have those?

Whenever it starts reading the date etc, then I just cancel it and read it later.

What I wish is for it to read me texts in a British woman's accent. Then it can talk to me all day long.

No just plain normal text it will do it. Ive checked all the cars settings and my phones settings but can't seem to see why it does it one weird thing it does is when it reads me the recipient it uses the contact my wife has me listed as whether her phone is connected or not.

Since the latest update my Mach e has been a disaster......wont save stations on Sirius XM, won't work with paak, and today kick to open no longer works !

Yes; it started a few months ago and is quite annoying. I'd love to go back to how it used to work.

Yes; it started a few months ago and is quite annoying. I'd love to go back to how it used to work.

I think I got it fixed I switched messengers to the Verizon based, previously was using the Google based messages and now it doesn't do it.
