Navigation / Text Voice Garbled

Not a big deal, but many times the voice that gives navigation or reads texts is garbled or breaks up. Sometimes will start garbled then clears up. Sometimes it is clear with no breaking up. I can live with it but does this happen to anyone else?

I have had that twice now when using my phone via Carplay. If I switch to the speaker on the phone, no issues. It’s not AT&T. When I switch back to the car, no issues and the garbling is gone. Ghost in the machine perhaps. ?

I have noticed that

I don't have that issue , but I have noticed when I first start my vehicle the bluetooth music from my Apple iPhone 11 stutters until all the systems are up and running. Does anyone notice anything like that?

My 2022 premium extended range does that under the circumstances. I am navigating in CarPlay with either Google maps or Apple Maps, I’m in the process of turning the wheel i.e. making a turn, then it is garbled or breaks up. Only under those circumstances, and it doesn’t do it with music.

Are you using Ford navigation or an app through your phone?

If it’s the latter it could just be your cell phone signal.

I will say I do get garbled (sound like a robot) sounds using CarPlay some times for phone calls. When I switch the audio from CarPlay to the phone the same phone call is crystal clear.

So for me it’s not the cell signal but something with the connection between the car and the phone. Not sure who to blame but it seems easier to blame the car.

Not that exactly but there are times my music loses sound completely. This happens whether Spotify, Sirius or even AM radio. When I switch to any one of those the sound comes on for 2 seconds and then back off. The only “fix” (most times) is to turn the car off and restart..
