JCPL EV Driven Program

Anyone know any details on JCPL’s ev charger rebate / subsidy program? I saw they submitted a proposal to NJ BPU in March 2021 and there were some issues but I don’t see any further movement or it coming up on any BPU agenda.

PSEG is already running for a few months now it seems.

I believe the program began around July 11th. I missed it by one week. It was a point of sale rebate delivered to the dealer and taken off the sale price. The dealer had to apply for it prior to the sale. I also believe it has since been depleted.

No sorry if I wasn’t clear. I’m referring to the utility program to help people buy and install level 2 chargers.

I've been following this. Checked recently on JCP&L First Energy Web site and there do not appear to be any announcements.

On the web, I did find the attached letter from JCP&L to DPU from November last year with a copy of the Public Hearing that was scheduled for Dec 7, 2021. I don't know if this happened and there's nothing I can find about it on JCP&Ls web site.

It seems the BPU postponed or suspended the timeline on this project and it is on hold when you search the docket. I also saw something that JCPL sent a letter to BPU asking for an earlier hearing to approve project but I don’t see it on any upcoming BPU agenda.
