A few months ago, my key fob started defaulting to my wife's profile. This was annoying because my wife is shorter than me and with her profile, it moves the driver's seat to where my knees are hitting the dashboard.
I have PaaK set up, so I started leaving the key fob at home, and for about 3 months now, I haven't seen the problem occur even once.
After reading a recent forum post, I got worried that there's a possibility that PaaK would stop working and I would be stuck somewhere away from home, so I decided to try the fob again. To be safe, I deleted it from my profile, then re-added it. And for 2 drives, it worked just fine. On the third trip away from home, the exact same thing happened, it switched to my wife's profile and I get another round of knees hitting the dashboard.
This seems like such a simple thing, the key fob is tied to my profile, why would it switch to my wife's profile? Are others experiencing this? What can I (or Ford) do to fix this? If I hadn't set up PaaK, I'd be really upset and bothering Ford to fix this - this is basic function of a key fob failing.
