Last minute x plan?

Hey all, long time lurker here. Ordered in July ‘21. Had a 1/3 build week and supposedly am finally getting my car next week. I’m incredibly thankful for all the information posted here.

Somehow I totally missed the boat on getting x plan through mustang of America. I only read about it today. Does anyone know of a way I could sneak in last minute?

You need to be active for 90 days prior to purchase, so unfortunately it won't be able to help since you won't be able to get your PIN until the time has passed. If you plan on getting another one or trading in in 90 days, then for sure.

There are a lot of partner companies that qualify for X-plan. You could check to see if your employer is one of them. Ford stockholders qualify also.

You send in documents to fords shareholder xplan division and wait a week or two.

My company is tiny, we definitely don’t qualify unfortunately

The Plan Rules state that the customer has to declare their intention to use X-Plan when they arrive at the dealership to purchase a vehicle. In the case of an order, the dealer probably has the right to refuse to honor X-Plan if they were not made aware of your intent to use it when you ordered. However, you might as well try.
