Hello,

Just got a build week of 06/13 (premium SR RWD ordered 12/21).
My dealer is honoring X-plan for my purchase and I’m wondering if there’s a requirement for how long I have to keep it before selling. I fully intend on keeping it, but for whatever reason, if I don’t like it, can I sell it and get something else? Or am I stuck with it?

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, there is no requirement from an X plan perspective.

There are other state rebates that may be prorated depending on where one lives, but I am not aware of any limitations with X-plan.

Had a quick question on X-plan pricing. Does the $1,100 delivery fee get added on at the end of the calculation or do you add that first, then do the math?

eg:
1) MSRP * 0.98 + $275 + $1,100
or
2) (MSRP + $1,100) * 0.98 + 275

Thanks for clarifying. I've been using the forum spreadsheet and it seems to use (2) above.

The X-plan Partner website uses (1) though.

It’s #2.

Here were the exact numbers from my order. (X plan is at the bottom of the sheet)

The answer is # 2. However, starting with 22s (I think) there is now some sort of ~ $10 fee (I believe it is called the CV Lot Management Fee) that is added on to all X-Plan orders as far as I can tell, which in effect basically makes the price somewhere between # 1 and # 2. If you enter your X-Plan credentials on this site https://www.fordpartner.com/partnerweb/login.do you can then browse for Mach-E's similar to the one you ordered to confirm the X-Plan pricing.

Thanks both!

I guess my confusion is that the partner sites has the $325 credit actually from the active prep thing so it's making the MSRP lower than my window sticker (that and that $10 fee I see on some other screenshot posted here earlier).

Yeah, it's tough with Park Assist now being off most of the new cars-- I couldn't find my exact car anywhere for sale either but got close enough to confirm the pricing is right. If you don't already have the document that @Mach1E posted above you should be able to get it from your dealer and it will have the right X-Plan price. In the end, I never got a breakdown that accounted for that $10 (I think it's only available in the DORA, which I didn't bother asking from the dealer) but it was so little I didn't really care. It was clear it couldn't be avoided.

Just to close the loop on this and clarify any ambiguity in my previous replies, I took a look at my invoice for my '22 RWD Select w/Comfort Tech Package, Interior Protection Package, Rapid Red Paint, and D&D. It had a total MSRP (including D&D) of $48,930, which should've resulted in an X-Plan price of $48,226.40. However, the invoice included two additional line items-- a $10 CV Lot Management fee and a $0.25 NJ Environmental Protect Fee (clearly specific to my state-- though not sure why a 25 cent fee needs to applied to electric cars or needs to be applied in any case given how tiny it is!)

This resulted in a total invoice of $48,940.25 which when run through the X-Plan calculator, got me exactly the X-Plan price I paid-- $48,236.45

At this website it says you should have it registered for you for 6 months. but maybe I misinterpreted it.

https://www.jdemmerford.com/ford-x-plan-official-rules.htm
Vehicles must be retained in the customer's possession and registered as provided above for at least six months from the date of purchase or lease.
