Leasing Question

I wish to lease a 2024 Mach-E. Currently, there are some excellent lease incentives available in Michigan ($9600 Capital Cost Reduction). However, the vehicle I wish to order will not be delivered until November. The dealer told me they would honor these lease terms at the time of delivery as long as I placed the order while the incentives were available. Does this sound correct? I am a little dubious and wondering if I am getting the correct information.

I would get it in writing. I had a dealer tell me the same with a Bronco. Then when it came in they backed out. I know they did it so they could mark it up and sell it. Thankfully, there are dealers in the area and I went to one of them, but I asked to test drive a Mach E and fell in love. The new dealership gave me a hell of a deal and bumped my trade in a few grand. I should mention I only wanted the Bronco for the looks. The closest I get to off-roading is driving in the winter when it snows. ???

Yes, that would be correct. The dealer will have to put it in writing to order the vehicle. You will have to sign agreeing to the current terms and then you will get the order number and be able to track it once the build date is scheduled. We went through this after Covid when we leased an Edge.
There are some great lease deals in MI right now. I just picked mine up last week and loving it!

These are handy to get an official agreement in writing. Just make sure you get the sales guy and manager to both sign it. Even something as simple as "We agree to xxx for $### with signatures will give you some leverage if they try to back out.

DeNooyer Ford in Vicksburg, MI (near Kalamazoo, MI). They have always been fair and upfront in previous dealings with them. But like you and other responders have suggested I will ask for written and signed paper work from them.
