Ford Credit does have a red carpet lease but you would need to pay close attention to the numbers. I leased a 2017 Focus BEV and they gave me the $7500 taxes credit off the price. That and rebates made it a sign and drive with no money out of pocket deal. If they are offering the same deal and you don't have the tax liability it might be a good idea. Ford made the option loan for the Mach E and I think it's a good hybrid lease if you can clam the $7500 tax credit.

Yes you can do a lease (RCL) red carpet lease.

Ford has chosen to apply the federal tax credits in a different way, I don’t know why. Ford does apply a portion of the federal tax credit to raise the residual value vs Ford Options. So if you do an RCL you will get most of the benefits from the tax credit.

The RCL monthly payments are typically lower.

If you cannot claim the federal tax credits then RCL may be a better option.

Various tax reasons like business deductions/expenses may be different for true leases.
