Looks like Lectron is/*might be* first to sell a certified UL2252 NACS to CCS adapter. I see one that says it's certified on Amazon, but I can't tell if that's a real certification or fake...

Besides the certification, there's one update, "The automaker approved design has an added secure interlock system that locks the adapter firmly into place once connected." Does this sound like the change that was included in the Ford adapter made by Lectron?

Other than the release from Lectron, details seem to be scarce.

it may be the second approved, . Will be interesting to see if the manufacturers will change their tune about using an non-OEM adapter that’s been certified to meet standards.

We bought the Lectron adapter to use with our Tesla Home Charger while we waited for QMerit to find an installer (3 1/2 months!) It worked great until the day before installation of the Ford charger (3 days ago) when the car refused the connection in Ford Pass. It was a VERY hot day in a stand alone, closed garage with sun pounding on the flat roof and the adapter felt very warm when I disconnected it.

Maybe it knew it was being retired and quit in protest?😊

Didn't bother troubleshooting. Curious if anyone else has had this challenge, though?

The Lectron adapter you used for home charging is NOT the same as the Supercharger adapter...

Yes, I know they are different and sorry, did not realize y'all were discussing the DC one...anybody have the same challenge with the home charger version?

Yes, in fact people have. Lectron came out with an 80amp version a few months back, quietly.

Nobody posts issues with the A2Z DC adapter, or their AC adapter (also 80amps).

Yes second approved, but likely first to actually being shipped?
I'm surprised Amphenol still hasn't gotten their product to market since the announcement. I recall the video mentioned issues with tariffs, but each passing day means one less sale.

I have the Tesla Universal Wall Connector. I tested it with an A2Z NACS to J1772 AC adapter and it worked just fine at the full 48a (11 KW) output of the Wall Connector. It's heavy duty. I bought it for possible use with Tesla destination chargers. I can certainly recommend it.

Make sure you have set your Wall Connector to work with non-Tesla's! You can do from the Tesla app, Vehicle Charging, Access Control, Any Electric Vehicle. There is a compatibility mode also, but I have not needed it for use with the MachE.

Thank you. It worked successfully with the Tesla wall charger from mid-April to three days ago.

Actually went into the app to Settings/Vehicle charging but there dies not spores to be an access control choice. Only choice is Vehicle Charging When Off Grid. But that might be because the Tesla charger is not currently powered as we're using the Ford Charger exclusively?

Hm, I threw the breaker on mine to take the wall connector offline. Then I went to the Tesla App (ios 4.47.4-3449) My Home\Settings\Vehicle Charging\Access Control still shows up. I would not think the access control would have changed by itself, it hasn't for me anyway in 10 months of usage. I set the Wall Connector to always charge, and do all the scheduling \ Target Charge in the FordPass app. Better stats in the Tesla app. The FordPass app has no connection or data sharing with the Tesla app.

Anyway, it would be interesting to know if your Wall Connector is bad, but not enough to hook it back up, I am sure. I took the Ford Promise $1000 off and put in the Wall Connector myself. Took the IRS 30% tax credit on the EVSE and wiring cost.

Interesting, but you're right--not gonna hook it back up! If might also be the Lectron adapter...
