I love my Mach-E, but I've had trouble with OTAs and the APIM since I purchased it a year ago. Its a 2021 Job 1 California Route 1 running about as a old of software as you can get at this point. When I purchased the vehicle used, it was clear the 1.7.1 "stuck" update was going to be a problem. The APIM was locked out by the previous dealer. It took me 2-3 times with various dealers to get them to to finally order me a new APIM. It's now been on order for 3+ months, and I was assigned a case number by the Ford BEV team. They've been very helpful but today informed me that "somehow my APIM order was cancelled" and a new one has been placed.
At this point, that seems ridiculous. I've been quite patient. Does anyone know if Lemon Laws (specifically in Texas) would cover something that can't be fixed due to parts sourcing issues? In my view, my car's value is significantly less until this is resolved because OTAs are an expected feature of the vehicle.
