I’ve been waiting over a year for my new Dride Pro dash-cam ‘perk’ from Indegogo. Delivery is being endlessly delayed. I’m giving up and looking for another.
I was just looking into into the FITCAMX Dash Cam for my UK Mach-e. It looks impressive because of the OEM fit, where cam is built into a replacement mirror housing and wires into the rain sensor loop inside.
https://fitcamx.com/collections/for-ford-lincoln/products/fitcamx-dash-cam-for-ford-mustang-mach-e
But manufacturer lusting states in their Mach-e dash-cam model (RESOLUTION( COMPATIBLE WITH LEFT-HAND DRIVE VEHICLES ONLY).
wtf? So I asked Fitcamx support for clarification and their reply said “Sorry the OEM Mach-e LHD & RHD mirrors are different.” Are they really? Anyone know if this is true? Most ICE cars & Tesla use same mirrors in both. Makes sense as they are mounted dead centre (center) in the windscreen (shield) ? just adjusted to left or right seat.
- Thanks
