I was just updated to Power Up 2.5.3 after my dealer applied 21G01. My vehicle was one that was previously stuck on 1.7.1. The dealer has to apply TSB 22-2117 before installing the updates. One thing I noticed now is that my vehicle location is totally wrong in Ford Pass. It has my vehicle listed 30 miles away. Has anyone come across this? I am also charging at my current location, and I have charged here before, but it’s not remembering my charge settings (I had put 90% as max).

I had that happen on a couple of the updates. The Sync reset didn't fix it but it was fine the next day.

Thanks, I will try that.
Mine did the same. A Sync reset should fix that. Mine was fine the next day when I went to use the car. Fine ever since.

Thanks. Maybe you guys can help me with something else. I received BlueCruise as part of the updates. It shows as activated in my Connected Services, and when I push the cruise control button, I get a pop up on the driver display that says BlueCruise is on. But, after a few seconds, it just goes into the intelligent cruise control mode and I have to keep the hands on the wheel. The display doesn’t turn blue so I don’t think Blue Cruise is on. I tried this on a major interstate both north and south and so far nothing. Any ideas what is going on with BlueCruise?

Well if it still doesn’t know your location it probably doesn’t know you’re in a BC zone

Did you also turn on lane keeping? That's the second step to start BC on an enabled road.

And having experienced it for the first time last night, it's hard to miss the instrument panel turning blue;)

Yeah here's what's going on.

Now that you have all the BC updates and your car is "enabled" and you have the switchology set to use BC (lane-keeping with hands-free...) what is going to happen from now on everytime you hit the cruise control button you will get a little message in the IPC that says "Bluecruise is on, watch the road".

Everytime.

So then you'll see the bubble with the steering wheel at the bottom and two hands on the wheel. And that's the way it will stay if you're not on a BC mapped stretch of road.

If you are on a BC mapped stretch of road (an interstate highway) then the bubble with the steering wheel and two hands holding it will go away and be replaced by a completely different screen showing the "Hands-free" version of the display.

So to be clear, and I'm reinforcing here because even service advisors and techs don't know what to look for and are easily confused, you will get that initial notice that "Bluecruise is on" everytime you activate the cruise control, but then the system will initially show the "hands on the wheel bubble" until it determines if you're on a BC mapped road. If you're not the "hands on the wheel bubble" will remain and you may get occasional reminders to not only keep your hands on the wheel, but also because you now have Bluecruise the iNanny messages will also popup to tell you to watch the road. Bonus!

Thanks. It sounds like as was suggested, my location is wrong and the system can’t tell I am on a BC mapped road. I’ll try resetting the system and see if that works.

Does your nav map on the screen show you on the interstate?

Obviously if it's not showing your accurate location then I wouldn't be surprised at any results you're getting, since it's not working as designed for a BC mapped roadway.

Just got in my car, and you guys were right. My Nav is not showing my correct location. I did a Sync reset and nothing changes. Any ideas how to fix?

I suggest a call to the dealer.
Unless you have FDRS and can check to see what CMDTCs you have and reset them.
