Lost "Ok Ford" prompt

The last little while I have not been able to use the OK Ford prompt to use things like navigation etc. Reading the forum I've tried the screen reboot to no avail and I'm now reading about factory reset. Is this a logical next step? Any pitfalls?

I had it where ford assistant and Alexa just didn’t work. Hitting the button or voice prompts. Didnt even have Alexa in the settings menu. I believe maybe it was an update bug that did it. Anyway I took it in and they had to contact ford ev team for troubleshooting steps so didn’t do anything that day. I ended up just getting them back randomly, possibly by another update idk.

Hmm ya basically that's what my trouble is as well, voice or button - nothing. Thanks for the info.!

Do you have the connected services icon visible at the top of the main screen? Voice commands require an active Ford Connected services trial/subscription and connection. If those aren't working, then OK Ford won't work.

Yes that is visible all the time, it's been several weeks since my last update though which ironically is probably when the issues started.
