I've no idea why you think that GT500 is relevant to how Mustang Mach-Es are sold.

Or for that matter why Escapes are relevant.

Again, Mustang Mach-E, not other random models.
Because they obey the same allocation and scheduling system. The only question is whether the demand is sufficient for it to become an issue which you haven't demonstrated that it isn't. There are people that have ordered a 2021 Mach-e GT and will not get one. There are many many thousands of people that have ordered a 2021 Bronco and will not get one.

If a dealer doesn't have allocation, the car generally doesn't get built. If it's a retail order Ford does the best they can to schedule them even if the dealership doesn't have allocation but high demand and/or low supply vehicles all bets are off and IMO the regular mach-e still falls into that category. To say customer orders ignore allocation rules is just not correct.

Don't care about Bronco!!! MME GT buyers were told back in April that they may not get 2021 model, but would instead get 2022. Bu they will get one, if they want it.

Dealer can order 10 for +ADM stock or let them go.
So are you saying that there are all of those dealer ordered MMEs out there? Or were there so many customer ordered MMEs that totally overwhelmed dealer's ability to order stock? Incidentally dealers could and some did demand ADM on customer orders.

Yes, they will get one, eventually, according to allocation.

Customer orders are still subject to allocation. It's a fact. Have you worked at a Ford dealership? I have. Google it and read up if you don't believe me.

Dealers get allocation and retail (customer) orders count against that allocation. If a dealer has zero allocation at the moment Ford will frequently try and still make it happen since its a customer order but if it's a high demand/low supply car (like the mach-e right now) then it will probably not happen. It just goes into the pipeline where it will get built, eventually, once the dealer has allocation. With a regular production car that will almost certainly happen eventually. With a GT500 it may not. But the allocation system still applies in both cases.

allotted none. orders yes. Dealers still can't order for dealer stock mache.
Deliveries are months out of order from reservation dates (even when the orders were confirmed right at opening). Some who had no reservation are getting build dates ahead of long term reservation dates. Not sure if allocation is the right term for this but there is definitely preferential treatment of dealers. I saw this with my Premium where someone with a reservation put in May 2020 was built several weeks ahead of my Jan 2020 reservation. Also am seeing it for my GT where I reserved Jan 2020 and some with no reservation got build dates ahead of me.
I am sure Ford has their reasons.

It might not have anything to so with allocations as you said. There is definitely some factor in determining whether a non-reservation is prioritized over a reservation, of which we are not privy and have no understanding.

As you said, Ford has their reasons. We may not understand them, but there HAS to be a reason. ?‍♂
