Another difference that is an improvement over Tesla. Tesla regens from the rear motor and does not blend regen and friction brakes from the brake pedal. You have one pedal for regen and if that's not enough and you press the brake pedal you get friction brakes.Well, Ford does use the front motor as the primary regen motor on the AWD models - that makes sense to me because it puts most of the braking power on the front wheels where you usually want it to be. The RWD requires a different strategy of course, but I’m glad they kept the front regen on the AWD for the improved handling.
