I will say that the delivery process through the dealer was very professional and quick. I found out some interesting things about the car that I actually got one was there was a card in one of the pockets of the receipt stating that the car had been taken out for a road test and evaluation after its assembly. That explains why I had a few extra miles on it. So I felt was a good thing because if they found anything I probably would've fixed it.
I will also note that during transport the car is in a transport mode which I found interesting as well plus they put blocks in the suspension these were being pointed out to me by my salesperson who seems to be extremely knowledgeable and also found out that the dealer that I purchased a car Theodore Robins has an officially certified tech there for electric vehicles which I found very comforting.
I will say that the combination of color and the wheels look a lot better in person than it does in any picture. Overall the tech in the car worked including the phone is a key. It's weird coming up to the car having the lights come on it seems to want to invite you in.
Anyways it's important to write about positive experiences with this new platform and I say so far I've had one in a good way. There are a few questions related to charging and it's a bit tricky navigating the Ford pass and getting things like the forecast to connect with chargers etc. but I think that's more of a learning curve than anything else charging with a credit card is seamless.
I've had my charge port put in my garage but I have yet to use it I need an extension cord. My first 20 mile drive was better than expected even in whisper mode this car will throw your brain back into your skull it is extremely fast. The overall handling of Windee roads hills etc. was on par with the mustang that I had with a naturally aspirated engine. GT tires and Brembo brakes worked great through the Windee roads of Laguna Beach California. Hoping to take it to PGA West next.
