Most likely, I am seriously reaching here. But, is there a way that a key fob or PaaK can be connected to a Profile that has been setup in the car?

From time to time, I start the car remotely (PaaK or the Fob). Once in the car, and driving, I then start to change radio stations, using the steering wheel controls. In doing so, I then realize that the Profile icon in the top right corner is not 'mine'. Hence, switching stations merely goes to those AM stations, or those presets and such.

Thus, my initial question. It would be great to 'connect' a Fob and PaaK, to a profile. And, to be honest, to me, the Profile should already know the PaaK, no?

Ummmmm yeah. Go to the prime screen under settings and select your profile. Then link the fob or phone. Good luck on it working though. My son is away at college, I can have my fob AND my phone on me, and the car will still randomly select his profile at times.

Plus with remote start, it always selects a generic profile. It’s up to you to tell the car “who” remote started it when you get there. Just push the appropriately assigned door button before shifting to drive.

You can also push the seat profile position button 1 -2- 3 on the door that's set up for you and it will change to your profile in Sync.
