Mach-E Specific Fob/Emblem

Nah they’re different model numbers.
FA - Silver Pony for ICE Mustangs
FB - Black Pony for Mach-E

Seems like most of the 2021 models came with the chrome emblem. Both the MME and coupe use 315 MHz but the coupe key *should* have a trunk legend on the trunk button where the MME key *should* have a liftgate legend. ??

I'd venture to say that all 2021s did. It seems that they switched to the new part# with the black pony at some point for 2022. I'm holding out hope that the frunk button will be added for 2023 (but not holding my breath).

Seems to me that the early key was an Edge/Explorer key with a Mustang battery cover. Now they have a model specific key. ??

The both do have the liftgate icon on the fob. My husbands job 2 2021 came with a black logo fob. Only one though, he then had the dealer order him a second and it was a silver one. So maybe it’s just random what comes from the factory. There is definitely a different model number though.

The next thing I’m going to see is if I can order a different back cover.

Sadly, neither have a Frunk button.

Part number MX6T-15K601-DC for chrome with frunk button. However EU frequency, so you have replace a few other parts as well... ?

CSP 22B10 completed today. Dropped by the dealer last week; they weren't aware of the program since the letters still haven't gone out, but they found the program easily with the CSP number I provided and my explanation of why Ford was providing the fob and programming.
Service immediately ordered the parts which their Parts Dept said would take 2-3 days. Visit today took 90 minutes including the "express electronic multipoint inspection."
My car, an early 2021 Job 1, came with the "FA" (silver/chrome pony) fob. The new one I received is an "FB" version (black pony). No frunk button...

I have a 11/2021 build job 2 and it has the black pony on both fobs I received at purchase.

Just FYI, the black pony is nice but the center of mine is already starting to show the silver or whatever underneath and looks a lot less pleasing to look at.

I have a fairly early build job 1. I just pulled out my fob to look at it and it’s a generic silver mustang. I guess my Mustang Mach E isn’t special ?

Quite the opposite. Our fobs are collectors items! The elusive chrome Mustang emblem Mach-e fob! Real Mach-e’s came with chrome Mustang key fobs logos and no remote Frunk release!

Only the European cars have the fob with a frunk button. They don’t have PAAK though. So I guess that’s the reason why.
