I noticed my Ford Pass app hasn't received updated vehicle information in a few weeks. PAAK still works to get in and start the vehicle, but the miles, charge, tire pressure, etc. all are stuck a few weeks and 719 miles back. I just logged into ford.com and it also has the old info, so I don't think it's an issue with the app itself.

This is a 2025 Premium. Never had this issue with my previous 2022 Premium.

Any thoughts?

Send me the VIN. I have the one for your 2022 in my inbox, but not this one.

DM Sent. Thanks, brother. I appreciate you!
Got it.....it shows your Fordpass connected, but your vehicle has not reported itself to the cloud since 11/14. On 11/20, you were sent GWM update ECG-25.2.7.7.1 which timed out and failed because your car never pinged the server back to accept it. So, there does seem to be some kind of connectivity issue, but without being able to see the codes, I cannot see anything useful. If you have FORScan or a code reader, pull the codes it is reporting.

The only thing I can suggest is you disconnect the negative cable from your 12v battery for 20 minutes to hard reset everything and see if connectivity is restored when you reconnect the battery.

If that doesn't work your modem is dead and needs to be replaced

I had a similar issue. I ended up pulling fuse 11 from the passenger side footwell and waited for 10-15 minutes. That seemed to fix it for me.

I'm having this same issue with my '25. I'm worried it's the modem but I need to try fuse/negative cable disconnect from 12v methods that are mentioned above.

Does anyone know the time and cost for a modem? Is it under warranty if the car was purchased a few months ago?

Modem will be under warranty. This is a bigger issue with 25MY with needing a new modem vs recovering with 12v method

I noticed that this thread started with "Ford Pass" app named. I am guessing that your phone did not automatically update the app to the new "Ford" app (no Pass). I had to force the new app to download (about a month ago).. maybe this is the issue.

Following up on this thread, I ran into the same problem as OP. My phone updated from Ford Pass to the Ford app, but it froze, showing no updates for my car’s status through my current car’s phone. Then, one day, the app showed nothing for my car. Even though PAAK worked, it happened for weeks. I wanted to fix it because I had a few trips planned later this month. So, I called Ford, and they told me to reinstall everything for the latest versions, but that didn’t work. Then, they asked me to reset my connectivity, but that didn’t work either. Finally, they told me to go to the dealership because they had exhausted all the troubleshooting. I was about to until I read this thread and a user mentioned pulling the 11 fuse. I checked it out and pulled the 11 fuse to reset the modem and the 21/22 fuse to cycle the gateway module.

It worked, and I was able to reconnect my Ford app and get everything going again on my phone. Overall, try the fuse method before heading to the dealership. It might save you time and money.

The fuse box is behind panel on passenger side, under dash, squarish black panel

How do you get to this fuse box?
You can find it under the glove box, near the passenger side feet. It has a fuse box sign on it. Just give it a gentle tug (it should come off easily). Grab a flashlight and check the numbers on the plastic holder for the fuses. I pulled fuses 11 and 21/22. Also, use needle-nose pliers to pull them out and then back in. Don’t squeeze too hard, but be careful not to let them fall; it might be tricky to get them out from that spot below. Leave them out for about ten minutes and then put them back. This should help the modem/gateway cycle and reset.

I took out fuses 11 and 21/22 from the fuse box under the glove box. I gave them a 10-minute break and then put them back in. Guess what? It worked!

How long after you put the fuse back did it update?
