Ford had an engineering manager once claim that they were looking into this (not long after @0t60-3.5 took the first delivery of a GT in 2021 and promptly found the undocumented feature we now call the 5 second limiter) that they would be looking into correcting this. We have zero faith that it will happen. When it was found that it was fixed in the 2024 we had some hope. The following radio silence about it dashed any hope of a retroactive fix for those of us who bought a GT based off of Ford’s video that the GT was a car you could take to the track and was “so fast I almost peed my pants.” Us 2021 GT buyers were definitely hoodwinked by Ford.@HuntingPudel
Thank you for this detailed explanation. I suppose I'll have to test it out, then. Unfortunately, the 2024 models are significantly more expensive, which is why I decided on this one. I had been hoping that Ford would have already introduced some improvements in the 2023.75 models. I'll see if I like it.
