Marion, IL charging

Planning a road trip and a Tesla Supercharger comes up in Marion, IL showing compatibility with my MME. Can anyone confirm that this location now has Magic Docks? Can I Plug n Charge? I assume I need to download the Tesla app.

Short answer is yes, this location has a magic dock and will work. Your best option is to look up the location in the Plug Share app and look at reviews from non-Tesla cars. This location has great reviews, so *should* be fine. You’ll need the Tesla app.

You CANNOT Plug and Charge, you MUST use the Tesla app.

I stopped at the Marion Tesla SC even though I didn’t really need to. It was very easy. Eight stations, no other users so I pulled up to the right of the first station, selected my charger by #, the Magic Dock then released. I plugged in and the charge started. I had previously downloaded the app, signed up, and entered a CC #. The cord barely reached so that may be an issue in the future.

Like others have said need the Tesla app. Also there app is the best way to see what chargers have a magic dock.
