We have a 2024 Grabber Blue and get many comments on the color. It is now discontinued and was told by a dealer rep that buys used cars that the color increases the value of the car since many people want that color.

I think he was just being nice.

Unless it’s an extremely expensive and rare paint job (like the mystichrome paint in the old Mustang Cobra) it doesn’t really impact resale value. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2004-ford-mustang-119/

If anything a polarizing paint color may make it slightly harder to sell as there will be a smaller buying audience.

With the Mach E, most of the colors (like my dark matter grey for example) are discontinued. They change colors as often as they drop features. 😜

Congrats on the new MME! I can’t imagine that there are very many of them on NL roads so yours must stand out in a sea of Teslas. I’m sure the 2025 is a big improvement over the old 2021 Select and I’d be interested to know what you think of the changes, especially in terms of wheels, range, interior, and charging speeds.

Thanks Silverelan! The MME is actually quite prevalent in the Netherlands. There are at least three other ones within a half mile radius of where I live 😊
I'll try to post my experiences with the new my2025 in the coming weeks.

Are you upgrading because your lease ended? I would recommend the GT but judging by your speeding tickets, you'd probably be in jail with that one lol so good call on not going that direction.
Out of curiosity I looked up what a GT would cost here in the Netherlands. A MME in GT trim starts at $80,171 over here, without any options and in the standard 'free' color. 💵

The SR RWD Select I ordered already costs $58,699. When I build the same car on the Ford US site it only costs $38,000. A $20,000+ difference 😬
Cars are very expensive in Holland.

It's worth the wait! Back in 2020 it took nine months for Jolly Jumper to arrive, like having a kid 😄
Space white. Such a nice color

Makes me wonder...how many MME new owners have gotten a speeding ticket in their early months of ownership? I could have easily but was lucky enough to not have the cops around when I snapped my head back a few times. Ok...more than a few...but I've calmed down big time and joined the "Conserve the Juice" club. Still seem to max out at 3.8 with average at 3.0. (I blame it on the AC or heater 😀 ) It is still tempting to take corners a bit too fast but the Pony must run!
That's exactly my experience - lucky to not have had cops in the vicinity. I've raced all kinds of folks too... Big ol' honkin' trucks, ICE ponies, cameros, Tesla 3s... the only thing so far I've not dusted is the big Tesla Dual motor suv thing. (I don't know if that's the X or Y). Some old granny kicked my ass... I was sad for a moment. But I've learned to not take the bait if I see 'Dual motor' on the back, that's just a nope.

Yesterday, an ICE GT Mustang came up, revving his engine, wanting to race - I would have obliged but traffic was a little heavy, and more importantly, I was picking up the wife from the airport - and there was no way I was going to explain I was late because I got a ticket. Would have loved to put that noisy rocket in my rear view mirror though...

Well, here is the new steed 😄
First impressions; Ford managed to make it even better in the last four years and the suspension has improved considerably. More info soon.

Right, after driving the car for 150 miles or so I can already say the following about the differences between de 2021 EU model and the 2025 EU model. These are differences that have (afaik) not been mentioned before in previous threads about the 2025 model.
  • When you dismiss all the notifications with the OK-button, you can then press and hold the LIM button to disable the (bloody) speeding message and ping. This resets after restarting the car
  • The coil whine is no longer present in de IPC (we knew that would be the case)
  • The new 'Lightening' electric motor is a bit noisier and the noise is a little more pronounced
  • The wind noise levels in the cabin have been reduced, the car feels quieter
  • The AVAS sound is now way less noticeable in the car, this used to be one of my little irritations in the 2021 model
  • The dump truck sound while reversing is now different and much quieter, my neighbors will appreciate this
  • The pony on the FOB is now ribbed black with a chrome outline instead of fully chrome
  • The 'cloth' on the speakers and the soundbar is now darker, used to be a lighter shade of grey
  • The steering wheel feels a smidge thinner(?), diameter remains the same
  • Lane centering is WAY more civilized! It used to brutely slam on the breaks every time someone cut in but now just reduces throttle and widens the gap slowly. Lane centering also feels much more confident and bounces between the lines a lot less. Very happy about this!
  • The rear window wiper is now bigger, 15" by default. The 2021 rear wiper was tiny
  • I love the build in diffuser, the 2021 model did not have it. Makes the car look way more aggressive from the back
  • Park Assist is gone, even though a couple of other MY2025 owners on FB said it was still present. No idea if this is a trim thing
  • The extra torque from the 'Lightening' motor is nice and noticeable
  • Might be a result of different tires but traction control seems less restrictive and it allows you to whip out the rear more
  • Velocity Blue with the panoramic roof makes the car look really sleek 😄

By all means add to this list when you reply!

On the Parking Assist, if you mean that it would parallel park that was removed, I think people said it went away starting on the 2022 model. There is still a "Parking Assist", but that is about turning on the cameras when you get close to something.

I just switched from a 2024 select RWD standard range to a 2025 premium RWD extended range. And from Grabber Blue to Velocity Blue. My wife liked the Grabber Blue a bit better, but I the edge goes to the Velocity Blue for me, I love the color.

For a difference that I don't see on your list is that the Ford Pass App now allows me to limit the charge current (Energy -> Advanced -> AC Charge Rate).

Another minor annoyance that went away was that before if in Engage and no lane centering is turned on the state of charge was this big, long blue bar, that didn't even have a number on it.

Now they have the car in the center, and the state of charge percent as a number off to the left, which is the way we like it.

Most of the other things we notice are just the upgrading to higher trim.

I also thought I would mention that you might want to update vehicle in your Account -> Account Details (I see you have already updated it in your signature)

Thanks for the additions and the heads up that I needed to update my profile 😄
I've seen a couple of Grabber Blue MME's in the last few years and I think that is an excellent 'flat' color for the car but Velocity Blue adds the metallic effect that makes the blue more vivid and change based on the viewing angle and weather conditions. More exciting in my opinion!

When I drove to work this morning a noticed a few more changes compared to my MY2021:
  • The seat heating is more proportional. In the MY2021 the lowest setting was already butt scorching, causing me to turn it of as soon as possible. In the MY2025 this seems to have changed and the lowest setting is now nice and comfortable, much more useful.
  • When the headlights turn on they seem to do so with a fading effect rather then on/off(?)

The non-metallic Grabber Blue was used on other Fords. The MME color is "Grabber Blue Metallic." It has several different tints of metallic flecks in it that change irridescence depending on light and viewing angle. It's a subtle effect but it actually contains those metallic flecks. 😁🐩
