MME MSRP increase by 2700, but battery cost (extended range) decrease by the same

i was looking on ford.com yesterday, and looked at the MSRP of some MMEs. when i noticed the above.
Yes, i am glad my total price is locked in.
i feel for anyone who now wants just a MME, without the extended range battery, as their price just increased by $2,700.
(yes, model prices can and will always increase)
Just seems strange that the amounts are the same.

I'm still seeing the same price, except for the $500 increase due to BlueCruise becoming mandatory now. What trim are you looking at, I am looking at a AWD SR Premium.
