MME AWD Extended Range 2025 Premium
Hi guys,

I'm from Germany and I'm new to this forum. I own a 2025 Mach-E AWD Premium with extended range battery. This im my second Mach-E.
I drove almost 60 000 miles with my first one I was complete satisfied with this car and decide to "upgrade" to newer model.

I learned that the new Mach-E Premium is shipped with ventilated seats in US. Sadly in Europe (or at least in Germany) there is no option to enable ventilated seats. In my opinion that would be a nice feature. Especially on hot summer days with plastic (or "vegan leather") seats.

I was able to enable "cooled seats" button by using Forscan. I've altered in module APIM the address "7D0-02-01". Sadly the button does not work. It shows the blue range but I cannot select it. Maybe it's mandatory to change some settings on HVAC module as well.

Can someone do me a favor and take a screenshot of the HVAC and APIM settings of a 2025 series MME Premium in Forscan? Alternatively an export of the default settings would be helpful.

Is there an easy way to find out if fans are built in? I would wonder if they ship other seats to Europe... but...

Thanks!

Greetings

My 2021 does not have ventilated seats. Someone with a newer model needs to chip in.

I would think that if the option isn't available in Germany, then the seats wouldn't support it - doesn't seem likely that Ford would include seats with the ability and just turn it off in s/w. That said, my 2022 had the liftgate kick-to-open hardware but it was disabled in s/w since Ford was planning to phase the feature out (presumably due to chip shortages during the pandemic). So it could happen, but seems unlikely in these circumstances. Are your seat perforated?
