MMEs on the way.

I was notified last week that my Mach-e was built and waiting for transport. I live in El Paso TX, a major port of entry from Mexico. Yesterday I was cutting through a Walmart parking lot and saw this auto transport truck with a full load of MMEs, all different colors. There was one black one on the very top. The truck driver said they were on their way to California. I like to think it was mine. ?

The MME is made in Cuautitlan, MX. And then usually transported by rail to the El Paso or Laredo border. From there they either continue by rail to a major depot, say like Chicago or LA, where they are separated for regional transport, or they are put on auto carrier for transport by truck. Rail is preferred due to less transportation cost, but much slower than truck transport, which costs much higher for less units than rail.

If you have a VIN number you can usually track it or the dealers can track the current location.
