Dealers add no value, I'd really rather just have a web site and buy button.
I would definitely agree here, particularly as it relates to a brand new EV in a dealership that sells traditional ICE vehicles. I was far mote knowledgeable about the product being sold than anyone at the dealership when I took delivery, and the majority of my knowledge came from scraping forums for anything I can find. This in my view is rather embarrassing and problematic, and gave me exactly ZERO confidence taking my vehicle there for any potential future service work. I certainly hope that the new business model being rolled out by Ford with specialized EV dealers remedies this situation, and quick!

I bought directly from my dealer. Agreed to then MSRP at ordering, they honored that along with price protection against the December ’21 price increase, and had a reasonable doc fee. Not all dealers are shady. They helped me set up my car at delivery and I feel like I had a good experience with them.
