Mobile charger issue

So I had a yellow light show up on my mobile charger and the kw dropped to 3.
I took my Mach e in for the 10000 mile service and took the charger with it. The dealer was great. $20 to spin the tires and check everything. They took the charger and confirmed it was bad. They rush ordered a new one for me.

So here is my big tip if anyone has this. The new charger does not come with the wall plugs. Dealer and I were surprised.

I am glad I checked as soon as I got home and went back before they closed and sent the old part back. Just made it In time.

So shout to Ken Pollock Ford In Berwick Pa. Really nice. Especially since I didn’t purchase there even though I tried to.

The bad thing is that throttled charging can be caused by the wall plug - it contains a temp sensor.

Nice to hear about the user friendly dealerships.

Many people here don't recommend using the Ford included charger on a regular basis. They use a more robust after market charger instead.

My first one lasted a little over 2 years before it started going bad. Replaced under warranty. I still intend to use it.

I just ran into this. Dealer somehow couldn’t find the 120 adapter in my old charger bag and only found the 240. That’s all I need for at home but now trying to figure out how to get another 120 plug.
