motion sensor disabling?

Am I correct that the motion sensor is the two little "vents" facing rearward and one facing forward up by the sunglasses holder? I've covered all 3 with plastic tape with only limited success in keeping the alarm from going off. Any better ideas?

Posted often.

1) Go into settings and turn off the engine timeout that is set for 30 seconds.
2) Leave vehicle on.
3) Close door, use 7/8 9/0 on keypad to lock it.
