mustang image

I noticed that my 2022 Mach E no longer displays the mustang image on the ground upon opening the doors at night. I have gone through display, lighting, and several other points on the settings and cannot find one that specifically mentions the display of the image. I called my dealership and the first person said my wires must have been cut and I needed to bring the car into the shop. (buzzer sound---no, I'm sure THAT is not the correct response). The second person I spoke to said it is a setting under display, but I checked again and saw no function under display about the cute mustang image. Please ASSIST! I miss my mustang image!

mine sporadically works no matte what the settings are. If I recall, it is the welcome lights setting, i think.

The ponies only appear while the side mirrors are folded in (if you have power side mirrors) and only when welcome lights are enabled. They're not super bright, so you'll only see them at night. And lastly, they can be shy sometimes.

Mine seemed have stopped working recently. I use PaaK and let it lock itself by just walking away. I noticed that when it does this the mirrors don't fold in and as such they don’t fold out when I approach so I wouldn’t get the puddle light. Last night I locked the car via PaaK and watched the mirrors fold in. Still no puddle light when I approached the car.

They are indeed tempermental, and sometimes get un-checked on your settings display. Or they stop working with some updates. Also they can get glitchy if you don’t drive your car often. Keep trying—no wires were cut! Typical dealer response.
