For me, my '70 was always actively trying to kill me so I drove it sparingly.

Just an FYI, I was born on April 17th. 1964. The same day that they introduced the Mustang to the General Public.

That '70 is beautiful! I had '70 convertible with a 302. Dad bought it for me for $800 when I was 14. We worked on it for a year+, restoring it. We weren't done yet when I got my drivers license, was driving one Sunday morning a week after getting my license, got rear-ended by a drunk. I was at a stoplight, stopped, and he was going around 40mph. I got hit so hard the seat ripped out of the floor and I ended up in the back seat. Car was totaled. Guy was poor, I got a whopping $1200 from his insurance. At that point I had already gotten a job a needed a car to get to work, with the little money I had we got I bought a '78 Mustang II 4cyl. Quite a step down. ?
