Today I was cruising the beach between Indian Rocks and Bellaire Beach in PInellas County, Florida. When I left Gulf Blvd. towards the mainland I crossed the Bellaire Bridge, a high-span bridge that allows sailboats to go under, so you know it's pretty high. As I crested the bridge, I was doing 30-mph. I took my foot off of the accelerator, and not using the brakes, the car held speed it at 30-mph all by itself without the help of cruise control. Any other car would have sped up to 40-45 mph without braking by the time it reached the bottom of the span. I found that to be pretty cool. The photo does not give justice as to the height of the span.
