Over the past couple of days, my navigation system on my 2023 Mach E GTPE has been doing some strange calculations with the "arrival time."
Here's what's happening: it's calculating my arrival time to be sooner than it used to. For example, for me to get home from my office, it takes about 12 minutes. Factor in traffic, and it's usually about 16 minutes. The system used to calculate this correctly. But over the past couple of days, even though the navigation system says the drive should take 16 minutes, when it calculates the arrival time, it's wrong. Say I'm leaving work at 4:30, simple math says the arrival time should be estimated at 4:46. But it's saying 4:42. It does adjust a LITTLE bit as I'm driving, but the funny thing is that even when I'm still a couple miles from home, and, say, it's 4:44, it will sometimes say my arrival time is 4:43, or 4:42, even though that time has already passed!
I've noticed that if I disable TRAFFIC, the problem seems to correct itself, although the arrival time is now not taking into account traffic, which is not a good thing. So I'm thinking it's some bug that's developed in the computer that's misinterpreting the traffic.
Has anyone every experienced this? Any suggestions? I'm wondering if I pull a fuse for a few minutes it might help, but which fuse would that be? Sync?
FYI, there haven't been any recent software updates, so I don't think that's the issue. I bet that if I just put up with this gremlin, it will probably fix itself over time.
