Navigation - How to change avoidances during trip navigation?

I live near a tollroad so I have tolls set as an avoidance in navigation. Otherwise, it ends up avoiding the parallel free highways and tells me hop on the turnpike for one exit trips. However, any trip requiring a charge, I use the turnpike (I-90). Of course, my roadtrips happen infrequently enough that EVERY SINGLE TIME I forget to turn off the avoidance and spend the next hour ignoring pleas from the navigation to detour hours on small country roads because I cannot figure out how to turn off the avoidance mid-trip and don't want to pull over and re-type the destination.

There has to be a way to turn off avoid tolls while navigating/driving, right?

Haven't tried. If so, turn it off while charging, or pull into a rest area and turn it off.

Sure. But the whole point of the posted question was how do it while driving. ??

Pretty sure you have to enter it as a new destination and then turn it off from there along with any custom avoidances you made.

I just tried this while out. Works fine while driving.
