Navigation instructions blanks out

Has anyone a solution for the delay of the top bar instructions for Navigation? This does not happen all the time, but we can start on a route to the next location and the instructions appear in the top bar of the navigation until we get onto the highway. Then the instructions will sometimes go blank for 3-30 miles. The mileage accrues but no instructions.

We tried messing with a lot of things, but the instructions come back when they want to,

I have something similar. I get a blank bar and no directions sometimes. I have to reset my main screen to get it to work but thats not guaranteed to work. Sometimes if I just leave it, it will start giving directions 10 mins into my drive.
